Feel free to contribute, but here are a few myths I have uncovered while trading on maxminis with the same username.
1-Trading with canadians costs a LOT more for an American. This is patly true, on a regular box, it costs about 1.25-1.75 U$ to ship up here. For a canadian, the cost is 6.20 plus an extra 1.25 CDN, if a huge is added ( extra weight ).
2-Trading with Canada takes MUCH longer. Completely untrue, unless you are doing a face-to-face trade or you are in the same state. From my experiences, canadian post is usually at least faster than UPS.
3-Sending internationnaly is impossible to do with a DC. Completely untrue, although the base cost is around 15$, it IS an option. Too costly for my taste, but it exists. |

| Another thing is when you send a package to another country, it is not a crime to mark the package as a gift and put the value at 10.00 even if the minis are worth more than 10.00 by any on line guide. |

| Indeed, in Canada we can get taxes on packages over 10$ and a STUPID 5$ handling fee, new this year. |
